      <image:caption>Six content steps give an overview on the key features of the car. They enable customers to explore the electric vehicle and its features in an interactive gallery with intuitive content hotspots. As a result, users can deep dive into those content pieces most relevant to them. Multimedia assets such as video content allow users to get a better understanding of more complex topics. An interactive question module enables customers to discover if the electric car fits their daily needs, while a range calculator tells them how often they would need to recharge. Further, users can customize the car by selecting from a variety of different paints and interior styles. In the last step of the journey interested customers can sign up for the newsletter to not miss any upcoming news by scanning the provided QR code.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>1. Display users in the virtual world To convey the feeling of a social gathering, I explored ways to represent users in the virtual space. Instead of playful avatars, I used ‘wisps’—small, glowing particles that float around the environment. Wisps are visually subtle, can represent large crowds without expanding the 3D space, and perform efficiently. In real time, they highlight areas of activity, helping users quickly spot where interactions are happening. 2. Let visitors share their emotions To keep the platform intuitive, I integrated emojis, a familiar form of expression. Users can share their emotions live with the community, bringing the space to life. Selected emojis appear above each user’s particle, directly reflecting the crowd’s mood in real time. 3. Exchange via chat or video call I designed a comprehensive event chat to support interaction between participants and moderators, including Q&amp;A sessions during live presentations. Visitors can network via private 1:1 or group chats and initiate video calls with selected user groups at any time.</image:caption>

One example is the virtual bouncer. An in-story character who provides onboarding guidance as users approach the club. A synchronized bass shaker system translated interaction data into physical vibrations, enhancing spatial realism and reinforcing user presence within the VR simulation. To ensure guidance and provide relevant information, I decided to have a dock worker audio guide the users through the experience. This storytelling approach allowed me to combine the user onboarding with facts about the dock, while also giving insights to the daily work of a dock worker.</image:caption>

Each phase was specially designed to make the processes as tangible as possible – with the simple touch of the finger.
